This product is a recombinant human anti-mouse prion protein monoclonal antibody. D18 specifically binds to PrP which is an infectious agent composed entirely of protein material and can be potentially used in the diagnosis and treatment of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies.

SDS-PAGE analysis of MRO-944LC-F(E) in non-reduced (lane 2) and reduced (lane 1) conditions. Gel stained for 30 minutes with Coomassie Blue. As a result of different β-mercaptoethanol-reduced proteins (Heavy chain and Light chain) migrate as about 25 kDa and 24 kDa, respectively.
